After we left Trinity, we meandered around town and happened upon two lovely little parks, St. Stephen's Green and Iveagh Gardens. No ones to miss a park, we had to take a stroll.

Later in the afternoon, we made a stop at the castle. It, like the President's home, was a little underwhelming, but we enjoyed the tour a lot. Much of the furnishings are Irish made (such as the Waterford crystal chandeliers and the hand woven rugs).

Dublin has a few really gorgeous churches and we heard that Christ Church and St. Patrick's Church also have amazing choirs and to take advantage of any opportunity to hear them...so, we heeded this advice and visited the churches during morning worship and an evensong. We were not disappointed, especially with Christ Church's remarkable choir! It was also a great way to experience the churches in a unique way.

We capped off the day with a delicious meal at the Brazen Head, Ireland's oldest pub (dating back to 1198) before heading back to the hostel for a much needed sleep!
