Blackford Hill

A few weeks ago, we ventured out with our friends, Chad and Natalie and their two boys, for a hike around two of Edinburgh's seven hills. It was a gorgeous fall day and we enjoyed spending time with these friends in some beautiful surroundings. Edinburgh is a great city in many ways, one of which being that there are a host of amazing (and easily accessible) parks and natural spaces tucked away within the city.

We ended up not making it up Blackford Hill, instead spending the afternoon on Braid Hill, visiting, playing in the stream, and picking blackberries. We'll have to get back to Blackford Hill though, because I hear there are incredible 360 views of the city and beyond.
